Visitor's Center and Women's Building
The Visitor’s Center houses a down home country gift shop with many unique, homemade gifts. We sell homemade woven rugs, wooden and gourd birdhouses, diet forks, kid toys and South Dakota souvenirs.
To the south of the Visitor’s Center is the Women’s building. This room displays early settler lifestyle. You can see anything, from a wood burning kitchen cook stove complete with pots and pans, an old pump organ, a wooden washing machine, to many other antiques including the lowly chamberpot!
We have numerous old musical instruments, children’s toys, hog oilers, and a homemade bike.

The new Gazebo is a nice place for a quiet picnic. Gazebo and table are in memory of Norm Serr and Ernest Geppert respectively.
